During her downtime, August enjoys bke rides and nature hikes with her husband, cooking, baking, and reading! She loves rabbits, bats, and spiders! She journals daily and is even working on a few book manuscripts!

August is a mother to 3 kiddos: she has a daughter and two sons, all of them grown-up and phenomenal individuals! She was in a punk band in the 90's, educated her kids at home, created the word "plantivore" for her vegan and bee-product diet, and she and her husband have a home library dedicated to their book and vinyl record collection!
